Berlinale starts new documentary programme

Berlinale programmeThe European Film Market, Berlinale’s industry platform has announced they are including a documentary programme, with high-quality doc screenings and events.

The programme will sit within the recently added Drama Series Days, taking place on 15 and 16 February in 2016.

The focus on documentaries will cater to the growing interest and attendance of documentary industry representatives at the EFM’s platform Meet the Docs.

The new platform will welcome everyone from buyers and sales agents to producers, commissioning editors and financial backers.

With a panel programme, market screenings and a number of networking events, the Drama Series Days will offer further opportunities to strengthen connections within the rapidly developing network of the European and international television industries, in cooperation with partners such as Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the Series Mania Co-production Forum in Paris.
