Some docs to look out for at LIDF next week

Next week Thursday, the London International Documentary Film Festival (LIDF) kicks off in the capital with some great films on a variety of subjects. We’ve put together some trailers of documentatries which we feel will be absolute winners this year.

Incident in New Baghdad by James Spione

Yakuaya by Marcelo Castillo

City World by Brent Chesanek

Krisis by Nikos Katsaounis and Nina Maria Paschalidou

Touch the Sky by Adrian Wills

If you like to know more about the dates and times of individual screenings, please check out the LIDF website.

Alexandra Zeevalkink is a Dutch-born journalist living in London who founded DocGeeks in August 2011 in order to have a legitimate excuse to watch every documentary under the sun. She freelances for various publications and writes mainly about documentary films, art projects and social inequalities. When she is not blogging or watching films she enjoys theater, photography and reading loads of books. She is always on the look out for potential partnerships with other creative minds.
